Hay for rodents
Hay is a central component of small animal nutrition. In contrast to the production of hay for livestock, which is produced almost exclusively by drying the soil, hay for rodents is produced on an industrial scale. New concepts and feed forms are constantly being developed in order to offer pets feed that is as varied and species-appropriate as possible. In order to dry these new and different products, we have developed an innovative microwave continuous dryer for the selective and rapid drying of plant-based pet food. Thanks to its modular design, it can be used flexibly for various lying or hanging products.
Fish food made from insects
Mealworms and the black soldier fly are important components for fish and animal feed production. Due to their high protein content and comparatively uncomplicated rearing, these insects are predestined for sustainable feed concepts. Thanks to their much more efficient production compared to soy products, they contribute to the preservation of our ecosystems. Only the energy-optimized drying of the product was previously an unsolved problem, which was significantly accelerated by a tunnel system. This has helped the customer to open up completely new production possibilities. This paves the way for another ecological and cost-effective alternative to conventional production.

Dry food provides a safe diet for pets. Drying the raw products places high demands on moisture content, consistency and color. To meet these requirements, we have developed a modular system concept that can be adapted to suit the product.
